Notice the differences between the two models. The 30ft uses thicker main beams (T3.75 mm vs T2.5 mm on the 20ft) and a thicker lifting head (T9.75 mm vs T6.25 mm). This is because the 30ft carries more weight per unit and needs stronger lifting points for loading and unloading. The 20ft has a wider top beam (100 mm vs 140 mm on the 30ft, but the 30ft compensates with greater thickness).

Wall panels and insulation
Our standard wall panels use EPS (expanded polystyrene) sandwich panels. The 20ft comes with 75mm EPS side walls and front/rear walls, with 50mm EPS for internal partitions and roof panels. EPS is the default for a reason: it is cost-effective, lightweight, and performs well in the temperature range of -25C to 50C that our units are rated for. For hot climates (Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia), 50mm or 75mm EPS is adequate for most uses. One detail that separates good units from bad ones: how the folding joints are insulated. If the steel hinge mechanism has no thermal break, condensation forms on the interior surface during cold weather. Water drips down the wall, the panel absorbs moisture, and within a year you have mold. We insert a thermal break strip between the hinge plate and the wall panel during factory assembly. Foundation requirements vary by destination and should be confirmed with a local structural engineer, not the supplier. We provide anchor bolt specifications and foundation drawings with every order, but we cannot verify your soil conditions from a factory in Handan.
Waterproofing and sealing
The roof is a flat galvanized steel sheet with overlapping seams. The expansion mechanism creates seam gaps where the wings meet the central core. These gaps are sealed with EPDM rubber gaskets or silicone sealant during factory assembly.
Ask any supplier for a factory water test report. We run water tests on every batch before shipping and can provide photos and video on request. Request the expanded floor plan drawing. Not a 3D render. An actual dimensioned drawing showing door swings, window positions, bathroom layout, and electrical point locations.
